Tools of the Craft

Whenever we read any ritual, we find there are several tools we should use. Of course no one forbids us from using ours with little more than a candle and an incense cone, but generally, having certain elements reserved to be used especifically during rituals will help us focus our energy better when performing them.

Each tool we use will have a particular energy, representing an element (fire, water, air, earth, and spirit). Each of them can be consecrated by a ritual, though if we've been using them for a while this might not be strictly necesary. The consecration process focuses more in freeing the new object of whatever negative energy it might have as a residue of it's manufacturing, and imbuing it with the energies of the witch. Thus can be understood that the best consecration is the regular use, but sometimes it's better to take some time to consecrate them ritually, as a final touch.

Among the most common used tools we can name, in no particular order:

The uses of each of them (and similars), as well as their specifications, are dealt with separately. At the end of individual explanations, I'm giving a possible consecration ritual for the tools.
