The one thing that draws attention of those lacking a deep knowledge of Wicca is perhaps magick, up to the point that they often confuse Wicca with what they call White Magick, not knowing there lies a whole beliefs system and moral behaviour behind it.

The few following pages are not an attempt to write a High Magick Manual. More simply, a brief introduction for those that don't know about it and want to get a rough idea.

Starting at the begining, let's make clear some points: you can practice Wicca either as a solitary, or with a coven. There are some that are usually solitaries but preffer to gather with others for some particular festivities or rituals. These covens are nothing more than a group of witches, generally loosely organized, where there is either a High Priest or Priestess, or both, being the only religious authority to whom the members answer to.

The problem of a solitary or group practice is a question of personal choice, even though many times this choice is directly influenced by the availability of a coven in the area where one lives. Other facts that can leave their mark are the sociability of the witch, and wether he/she is willing to deal with the problems inherent to every human group. I'll say this again, then: it is YOU who must decide if you feel more comfortable celebrating your rituals and worshiping in private or in a group.

Next, a few comments on the magickal practices, as follows:
